Conference, "Reaching the Summit in Service Coordination", to be held April 30 - May 2, 2014 at the Omni Mount Washington in Bretton Woods, NH. The NERSC, Inc. conference provides an educational and networking forum for Resident Service Coordinators and other housing professionals who serve a diverse resident population. We believe all residents, including youth; families, disabled and elderly should enjoy a sense of community and participate in events and activities that have a universal appeal that is both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating.

The Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents has announced the application procedures for the 2014 Safety Grant. The goal of the DIA grant program is to promote safe and healthy conditions in the workplace through training, education, and other preventative programs for employees and/or employers of industries operating within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and whose entire staff are covered by the Massachusetts Workers Compensation Law (MGL c. 152). They award up to $25,000 in safety training grants to various organizations. There is no matching requirement and the grant application is less than 10 pages.

DIA is looking in particular for small businesses, minority businesses and non-profits organizations. We at 7 Generations have helped several organizations including Hospitals, Housing Authorities, Universities, and Private healthcare organizations apply for and receive this Safety Training Grant. Our training programs provided under the Grant have included: Workplace Violence Prevention; Preventing Back and Muscle injuries; Chemical Safety & Handling Hazardous Materials, CPR & First aid and more.
